McLeod Health is pleased to announce the addition of three new physicians to its medical staff at McLeod Health Loris Seacoast: Dr. Marc Comianos, Dr. Nicole Rice and Dr. Olinda Spencer.

Dr. Comianos has joined Dr. Chuck Mills and Dr. Mark Pelstring in the Southern Medical Associates office in Loris, South Carolina. He comes to South Carolina from Marion Area Physicians in Marion, Ohio, where he practiced Internal Medicine. Dr. Comianos has more than more than 25 years of experience as a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician. He treats a broad spectrum of adult health care needs ranging from primary care to more complicated conditions including heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, and multi-system diseases.

Dr. Rice cares for patients with McLeod Primary Care Sunset Beach in North Carolina. She offers healthcare for everyone in the family from newborns to the elderly. In addition to primary care needs such as hypertension and diabetes, Dr. Rice manages musculoskeletal issues and has additional training in osteopathic manipulation.

Dr. Spencer joins Dr. Michael McCaffrey in caring for patients at the McLeod Neurology Carolina Forest office in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She comes to McLeod Health from Duke University Hospital where she completed her Adult Neurology and Internal Medicine Residency. Dr. Spencer is highly skilled in treating patients with Neuromuscular, Central, and Peripheral Nervous System disorders. These conditions include epilepsy, stroke, headaches, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Huntington’s disease, and autoimmune encephalitis.
