SCRA Announces Six New Client Companies

SCRA announced the recent acceptance of six Client Companies into its entrepreneurial program, SC Launch. Client Companies receive mentoring and support services and may also be eligible for funding.
Coastal Company
TrayAwayhas created Wi-Fi enabled hardware devices to provide hotel guests the convenience of tray retrieval with a single click. Hotel management is immediately alerted via SMS or internet browser for room service pickup, enhancing the guest experience and lowering labor costs. With TrayAway, room service trays cluttering hotel hallways are a thing of the past.
Upstate Companies
6AM Cityis an audience development company in the local media space, and has developed a disruptive technology to curate, package and deliver hyper-local content via daily newsletters targeted to its 6 markets in the Southeast. The company engages local communities by creating new ways to consume, participate and share local content. 6AM also delivers measurable data to their advertising clients. With the ability to rapidly deploy new markets, the company plans to continue expansion into 10+ markets in 2019.
True Load Time is developing a patent-pending digital platform for the trucking industry that tackles a specific pain point common to all commercial trucking companies. True Load Time’s technology will provide unprecedented levels of transparency and collaboration into an otherwise extremely fragmented industry. The company was also approved for an Acceleration Grant.
Midlands Companies
AgriLinxprovides the agriculture industry with hardware and software elements to address customization and networking for agriculture operations, including equipment and labor tracking. The company’s irrigation management application allows cloud management with a robust scheduling and monitoring system. AgriLinx provides a fully customizable hardware deployment of sensors, valve controllers, pump relays, and more.
Compliance Innovationsis developing an electronic vehicle license plate that allows Department of Motor Vehicle agencies the capability to wirelessly change a license plate when it’s issued, renewed, expired, suspended or canceled. The company was also approved for an Acceleration Grant to help with prototyping in November 2018.
Guhroo helps payroll and HR service providers grow their practice by offering elegant and simple HR software that is branded to their company. The company’s easy-to-use HR platform allows them to compete with national payroll providers and win more business while expanding their service offering for their existing clients. Guhroo was also approved for an Acceleration Grant in November 2018.
