The Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is pleased to announce the launch of its new website at www.djj.sc.gov.

“We were very intentional about the design and content of our new website, placing new emphasis on serving all potential end users – parents, lawmakers, community partners, media, etc.,” explains DJJ Executive Director Freddie B. Pough. “We see this site as a valuable resource and a platform to showcase the incredible, empowering work taking place at our Agency. We thank SC Interactive for helping to make our new site possible.”

The website offers a cleaner, more instinctive user experience and features an enhanced navigation bar where all the website content can be found easily. A drop-down menu on the homepage titled “How do I…” gives users immediate access to commonly requested topics in one click. Recent news and social media feeds are prominently publicized on the homepage.

The new website design - highlighted by a brand new DJJ logo and color scheme - allows users to access Department of Juvenile Justice resources, including information on career opportunities for youth, local community initiatives, volunteer opportunities, DJJ’s Birchwood School District, and the ability to run interactive data reports. Citizens and visitors are encouraged to connect with the Department of Juvenile Justice online and take advantage of this re-designed, easy-to-use website!
